Kaydan’s Birthday Party
Melanie was all dressed up in her party dress and ready to go to a birthday party and Louise wanted to get some pictures. So she actually picked up the camera and took most of these shots! And of course Melanie hammed it up for the camera as always.
The birthday party was for Melanie’s friend Kaydan, and it was at a bowling alley. Kaydan is the son of Melanie’s former day care provider (Robin), so these two know each other really well. Melanie was very excited to be going, and to see everyone, but she was also pretty shy at first. She’s been staying home with Louise for a couple of months and hasn’t really seen any of them for a long time. As always the shyness wore off quickly and she had a great time!
Louise and I were also pretty excited because it was the first time we’ve been able to drop Melanie off at a party and leave here there. She’s growing up so fast! We left her and went out for a great Vietnamese dinner, but we did make it back in time to get a few pictures of the kids bowling. The tiny bowling shoes are very cute…
