Christmas at Heritage Park
We went to Heritage Park Historical Village with Dave and Naomi (and their kids) to see the park all dressed up for Christmas. Heritage Park is a mock up of a historical town, and is supposed to represent Calgary in 1914. It is a very popular summer attraction in Calgary for both tourists and locals, and they have a full size train that circles the park, as well as a few amusement park style rides.
The park is normally closed in the winter but they open for a few weeks at Christmas every year and locals flock to it! They have the whole park decorated for Christmas, and also have lots of fun winter things for to do. Although the train and the amusement park don’t operate at Christmas, they do have mazes, skating, wagon rides, and live music !
We had a nice trip to the park and then went out for breakfast at “Pfanntastic Pannenkoek Haus“, another very popular local attraction!
