2009 Cottage Vacation – The Falls
My favorite place to hang out while at the cottage is up near the falls. I’ve spent many hours walking around near the falls enjoying them and trying to make more and better images. There are so many neat places to explore that I literally spend hours walking around and climbing on the rocks. This year I got to show Melanie some of my favorite places and we explored the area several times together. If anything she’s even more excited about going up to the falls than I am!
As I’ve mentioned before it rained a lot during our trip this year so I didn’t dare to take my camera with me very often, but sometimes just being there is even better than any image I could possibly hope to make. I did take it with me on one trip and I made a couple of nice portraits of Melanie and I together at the “secret” tunnel.
This will be my last post in the cottage story for this year. We were sad to leave and we all can’t wait to go back sometime soon!
