Back in action… Again!
Well, it took several days, and a complete migration of my entire site to a new hosting service (as well as all of the other sites I host through the ShareMyWebsite service I created a couple of years ago), but the site is finally back up and running normally. I haven’t completely tested everything to make sure it’s all working properly, but on the surface it seems to be running well! What a pain in the butt!
I hate to even mention their name since even bad advertising is still advertising, but I have to say that if anyone is even considering hosting a website through 1and1.com then please reconsider. I am now using DreamHost.com as my main service provider and I woudl definitely recommend that you check them out if you are looking for a new provider. Alternatively if you just want to run a simple family website, then my aforementioned ShareMyWebsite service is cheap and easy…
Now I can get into some serious photo editing from our recent trip to Beaches Sandy Bay in Jamaica!
