We were lucky enough to be able to stay home for Christmas this year! Grandma and Opa Knobel and Auntie Carolyn flew in from Ottawa to join us for the holidays.
Christmas eve was quite traditional (stockings, milk and cookies for Santa, etc,), including some new and old traditions. The new part had Louise and I going to the local community center to donate blood, which we plan to repeat annually at Christmas. The old part mainly invloved Worstebroodjes!
A Knobel Christmas just wouldn't be right without Worstebroodjes! Opa and Carolyn make these Dutch treats every year. This is the first time I've ever seen them made, and it's quite a sight!

Family Portrait
We set everyone up for a family portrait in front of the fireplace. It was fun, but the pictures were pretty awful!
