A Tour of Parliament Hill

We went for a family trip to Parliament Hill and took in the Changing of the Guard and a guided tour of Centre Block (including the House of Commons, the Senate, and the Library). It was all so very impressive and even the kids found the whole thing pretty interesting. The pomp and ceremony of it all, and the lavish and intricate stonework of the building itself is simply amazing. We also stopped by the Rideau Canal and saw a few boats moving through the locks. Centrepoint Spray Park

A few images from a trip to Centrepoint Spray Park in Ottawa. It was a hot day and the kids (Melanie, Andrew, and Cousin Sophie) all needed to get out of the house to blow off some energy. Andrews Final U6 Soccer Game

Here are some pictures from a couple weeks ago at Andrew's final U6 Soccer game. They had a celebration with food and medals, got their pictures, and played some soccer too. It was a fun season but I think we're all glad it's over. Between the two kids we had soccer 5 days a week for 2 months on top of an already busy life schedule. It was pretty crazy but I got lots of great photos to show for it...
