Camping at Two-Jack in Banff

Snuggles by the Campfire

We went camping (in Banff) and sleep was pretty hard to come by on the first night. Both of the kids were very excited abotu the whole event and they just wanted to keep taking it all in. Andrew wasn't even close to being ready to go down until very late that night, and he really needed some snuggles by the campfire before he would consider going to bed. I really liked the way the glowing light of the fire warmed up the whole scene and gave Louise and Andrew a surreal glow...(click here to see the images larger)

The Best of Friends

Ferg, The Ferg, Bud, Buddy. Fergus McDuff. Fergus.Good natured, extremely quirky, and always fun to have around. He was a huge part of our family. Melanie grew up with him and he looked after her. Grandma and Grandpa were here for Melanie's last day of Gymnastics in the fall session. It started off with a wee bit of drama because we forgot to take the food donations and a Christmas ornament that we were supposed to take with us for charity. Melanie was quite upset about it but fortunately somebody had some extra to share with Melanie and she was able to participate...It was free play day and parents were told to expect to help and participate, but also to bring cameras because there was an "award" presentation at the end of the session.
