Merry Christmas
It was a roaring success at our house today, and a bit of a whirlwind too. We were up way too early, ate way too much, and got way too many presents. I only feel OK about it all because we also gave lots of presents and we got to share the day with lots of family (some near, some very far away)!
Andrew really had his game face on today and he showed up with a level of excitement for opening presents that we’ve never seen before. Every couple of minutes he would walk over to the tree, grab a random present, and say “This is mine!”, and then start opening it. Melanie was much more helpful, but she was also very excited the whole time and for the most part could barely contain herself, never mind slow Andrew down. Oh well, it all worked out in the end and a wonderful day was had by everyone here.
