Kananaskis Sunrise
We woke up early and decided to go for a drive to Kananaskis to see the sunrise. It just so happened that the full moon was settting shortly after sunrise and we hoped to see the Alpenglow washing down over the mountains. We timed it just right and managed to see the best of it!
After the show was over we piled back into the van and headed into the village for breakfast and then a short walk on the Rim Trail above the river valley. It was a beautiful start to the day and everyone had fun. We even made it back to Calgary just before we ran out of gas!
