Hiking Picklejar
We went hiking in Kananaskis and attempted the Lantern Creek trail up to Picklejar Lakes. It was a beautiful day and an awesome hike, but it was also pretty tough and we couldn’t finish it. The last stretch up to the lakes was very steep and required a steep scramble down the other side, so we aborted. Melanie was awesome and hiked over 6 km even without finishing, so we were pretty happy with what we did do…
On the drive home we came across two separate herds of Bighorn Sheep. One of the sheep even tried to join us in the van.
