Calgary Stampede
We got tickets to the Rodeo at the Calgary Stampede this year and took Melanie and Andrew with us. The Stampede is massive and the rodeo is just a small part of the event. We actually spent most of the day there so that we could see all the sights, ride the rides, eat fried food, and have lots of fun! Melanie got to see Diego, watch the Doodlebops perform, and go on some rides. We also got to meet Denny Morrison (who was born in Chetwynd where I spent some very memorable years in my younger days) and saw some amazing BMX riders perform some extreme stunts. It was a great day and everyone was tired by the time we got home!
