Halloween 2008

It has been a very long time since I’ve posted here, but I’ve maintained all along that the site is not dead.  It was more like a summer vacation or maybe a sabbatical to give me an opportunity to get some other important work done.  In fact I have a massive backlog of family photos to go through and I will post them eventually.

Although I know that it won’t take all that long once i get started, it’s still quite a daunting task to look forward to.  Many efficiency experts will tell you that the best way to get caught up on something is to start with what’s in front of you, rather than worrying about what’s behind you.  Once you get the now figured out then you can pick away at the old stuff gradually.  And so after a particularly plaintive call from a far away Aunt wanting to see Halloween pictures, I’ve decided that today is the day to do just that!

I still plan to go back and dig into the older stuff and post it here too, but I’m not even going to pretend to give a timeline as to when that will be finished.  As I’m sure you know I have many projects on the go, mostly related to photography.  While I haven’t got my plans fully mapped out, I have taken some pretty big steps to move beyond the happy snaps (that I’ve traditionally posted to this site) and to actually do something with my art.

If you haven’t done so already please check out my new personal photography website at http://www.Sean-Phillips.com to see a little of what I’ve been up to!

Anyway, I’m sure that most of you have just skipped on down here for the good stuff, but for those that read my intro, thanks!

Halloween 2008

Here is an album with a whole pile of pictures of Melanie and Andrew enjoying a very successful Halloween. We started off with a photoshoot to show off their costumes.  The were hilarious and as usual they both hammed it up for the camera.  Andrew was particularly crazy and loved hiding behind my backdrop (aka the blinds in the sitting room) and playing peekaboo for the camera.

The night continued with a Trick or Treating adventure, followed by pure bliss as the kids checked out their loot bags! Check it out…
