Camping at Glacier National Park
Here is a slideshow and a bunch of images from a camping trip we took with friends last summer to Glacier National Park in Montana. We stayed at the Many Glacier Campground and explored Swiftcurrent Lake and the Many Glacier area, as well as a day trip along the Eastern side of the Going-to-the-Sun Road. [...]

We went for a nice walk along the Heart Creek Trail on Thanksgiving weekend. Louise’s mom and Sister were in town (with little Baby Zoe) and we all needed to get out of the house. A trip out to the mountains was definitely in order. It is a very pretty hike and it was a [...]

Camping in the Elbow Valley in Kananaskis
We camped with some friends at the Little Elbow Equestrian Campground in the Elbow Valley. It was a fantastic weekend with plenty of activity, and some relaxation and great food too. Highlights included hiking the Nihahi Ridge Trail, visiting Forget-Me-Not Pond, and barbecuing some great steaks over an open fire.

While visiting Kelowna we decided to get off our butts and go for a hike. Normally we would just go up to the park near my parents house, but this time we did something a little different and went to Knox Mountain Regional Park. Knox is a popular tourist destination close to downtown Kelowna and [...]
