We took the dog for a walk at Carburn Park to enjoy the fall colors. The park is still not entirely back to normal since the flooding, but we still found some beautiful spots and had a great walk. I'm guessing that by next summer it will be very hard to tell that the whole park was fully underwater this year... Here are a few pictures of the kids I made while we were there. It's still a beautiful place to do photography!
During our visit to Ottawa we had all the Knobel cousins together so we took advantage of that to make some group photos of them all together and with Grandma Knobel. The main reason for our visit was so that Louise and her brother Rob could do the 100 km "Ride the Rideau" bike ride (in memory of their father John and in support of cancer care and research at the Ottawa Hospital). We went for a nice walk along the Heart Creek Trail on Thanksgiving weekend. Louise's mom and Sister were in town (with little Baby Zoe) and we all needed to get out of the house. A trip out to the mountains was definitely in order. It is a very pretty hike and it was a beautiful fall day!

She's a 12 week old lab/retriever/border collie cross, and she is pretty darn cute. I'm sure you will see more of her here (and on Facebook) over the coming weeks and months.
