Slip and Slide
Today was Rob and Cyndi’s last day here so we made the most of it… We went out for breakfast at Nellie’s (which is a Calgary landmark) and then went to the park for Melanie to burn off some energy. The park we went to was a splash park, but we didn’t know that and so we didn’t have bathing suits. Of course this just made Melanie want to get wet, so we had to go home so she could run in the sprinkler! When she remembered the slip and slide, the whole family got involved!
Louise and Rob got busy setting up the slide, I got my camera, and Cyndi got Sophie into her bathing suit. (Andrew eventually woke up and got into the pool too, and Fergus thought it was a great way to get a cold drink…). Melanie hasn’t really figured out how to slide on her own, so Louise and Rob had to help a little. I got some great shots of the action!
After lunch Rob and Cyndi packed up to go to the airport. We had just a few minutes to get some pictures of the girls in their cowgirl boots! It was a cute photo session and there were lots of smiles from both of them.
