Weaselhead

Weaselhead

We were out and about last Friday looking for something to do and so we thought we would check out a park in the city that we hadn’t had a chance to explore yet. Weaselhead is a protected natural area within the City park system. It is one of the city’s most beautiful parks and is home to many birds and miles of walking trails.

We had Melanie with us so we didn’t get to explore as much of th epark as I would have liked.  We have done lots of walking with her over the winter, especially at the dog park, but her stamina is still not where it needs to be for longer hikes.  We hope to be able to do some nice hikes in the Mountain Parks this summer though, so this is just one more step in her training!
